Firmware release: Artificial Intelligence on MorphoWave Compact
Dear Partners,
We are pleased to inform you that we have recently released the following deliverables:
Firmware 1.5.0 for MorphoWave™ Compact
With the Firmware release 1.5.0, IDEMIA brings the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to MorphoWave Compact’s biometric engine: deep learning techniques are now used in conjunction with IDEMIA’s fundamental biometric technology principles to push again the boundaries of fingerprint identification.
MorphoWave Compact’s new AI-based embedded biometric engine delivers an 85% increase in matching speed, which translates to a 25% increase in throughput of over 50 people per minute per access point. The algorithms further increase matching accuracy, enable higher capacity (up to 100,000 users for one-to-many identification) and bring particular benefit when dealing with the most challenging fingerprints.
This release offers additional improvements (customization, webserver localization, user access schedule, etc.) and fixes. See the release notes for more details.
MorphoKit™ 5.25.0 for Windows, Linux and Android platforms
– The Android package now supports the armeabi-v7a ARM embedded application binary interface
– The Linux package now supports Ubuntu 18.04
– The Android and Linux packages include a MultiFingerAcquisition Component for MorphoWave Compact.
Android QuickLoader Library V1.0.0 for CBM-V3/E3, MSO 1300 V3/E3 and MSO 1350 V3/E3
This .aar library can be integrated into customer application. It calls the QuickLoader app to upgrade firmware and allows silent upgrade.
