JCB is one of IDEMIA’s partners in Asia which won the annual Asia Awards for “Cards & Electronic Payments”. Thanks to IDEMIA’s Technology.

The 5th CEPI, in Singapore, gathers all best players in cards and payments landscape in Asia-Pacific for an annual Summit and Awards. It’s an opportunity for them to share and discuss about the key industry issues faced and outline Industry innovations.

After the development of JCB Token Platform (JTP) back in 2016, IDEMIA and JCB have tightened their partnership to develop a biometric card proof of concept. The partnership uses the F.CODE card, technology which takes card payment to the next level. This technology developed by IDEMIA allows the replacement of PIN CODE by fingerprints.

Security and Privacy is enhanced with F.CODE by its unique and universal method of identification. The biometric card has a lot of advantages as better authentication, transparent payment transactions and contactless payment for high value transactions.
