The HID® Lumidigm® V-Series fingerprint readers utilize HID’s patented multispectral imaging (MSI) technology, designed to offer the most trustworthy and secure fingerprint verification technology available on the market.

Unmatched Accuracy

Utilizing various light colors from different angles, MSI technology reads both surface and subsurface biometric data, leading to excellent matching precision and liveness detection. This unique attribute allows the Lumidigm readers to accurately capture fingerprints in challenging conditions, even with difficult finger types (like dry, dirty, damaged, oily, wet, aged, etc.), and in extreme environments (such as bright sunlight, darkness, heat, cold, rain, snow, dust, etc.).

Secured Endpoints

The HID Lumidigm MSI V-Series Secure Line readers include advanced endpoint security that encrypts data sent to and from the device using FBI-certified encryption algorithms, preventing unauthorized access to your networks. In case a hacker attempts to infiltrate the reader, the MSI device is equipped with proactive tamper protection and detection features that will delete the encryption keys, thus barring the hacker from accessing the keys and data stored on the readers.
