Description

The OCR315-E is an OCR swipe reader utilizing USB connectivity, designed with a track length and a single-slot system that guarantees proper alignment of passports and ID cards for consistent and accurate reading. The track length ensures that documents slide along the metal plate without any fluctuations, guaranteeing an accurate read each time.

The OCR315-E USB identity document reader is capable of reading machine-readable passports (MRP), visas (MRV), U.S. and international resident permits, as well as European and other national ID cards that comply with ICAO 9303 and ISO/IEC 7501-1 (2 and 3-line MRZ). Additionally, it is also future-proofed as it can read the new ISO/IEC 18013-1 driving licenses (1-line MRZ).
