The OCR316-E is a highly compact OCR reader with USB connectivity, designed to provide quick and precise bidirectional reading of machine-readable passports, visas, U.S. and international resident permits, and national ID cards.
Additionally, this device comes equipped with a three-track magnetic swipe reader (MSR), enabling it to read credit and debit cards, loyalty cards, and frequent flyer cards.
The track length and single-slot design have been optimized to ensure passports and ID cards are correctly positioned for consistent and accurate reading.
