IDEMIA Launches Two Brand-New Contactless In-Motion Biometric Verification Devices
IDEMIA, the global leader in identity technologies, announces the launch of two new cutting-edge biometric terminals to speed up passenger identity verification procedures. Discover the OneLook Gen2 and the MorphoWave TP – two solutions for faster, more secure, and smoother biometric verification.
OneLook Gen2 – A Multibiometric Identity Verification Solution
The OneLook Gen2 terminal is a multibiometric identity verification solution that offers facial and iris recognition, as well as accurate biometric matches at a distance. Thanks to its second generation, the OneLook Gen2 offers even faster recognition with excellent image quality and more accurate matching. Featuring a new sleek and integrated design, the terminal can be used in a wide variety of applications, including border control and connected boarding for a safer and smoother passenger experience.
MorphoWave TP – A Smooth Fingerprint Verification Solution
The MorphoWave TP is a smooth fingerprint verification solution for crossing land, air, and sea borders. This solution offers contactless and in-motion recognition of ten fingerprints, that is, four fingers and a thumb simultaneously, in any direction. The MorphoWave TP produces high-quality fingerprint images in less than a second, with a simple hand gesture. Compatible with existing databases and classic contact scanners, this solution can be used in a wide variety of situations, including border control.
These two new IDEMIA solutions have been developed to raise biometric standards by offering accurate, contactless, and in-motion verification. Both solutions offer excellent image quality and high matching accuracy for a smoother and more secure passenger experience.
According to the findings of the recent IATA Global passenger survey, 75% of respondents are ready to provide their biometric data for a smoother experience. IDEMIA is aware of the importance of data privacy and is committed to contributing to the protection and security of individuals’ privacy.
Both solutions were developed according to the Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default principles to guarantee the highest possible level of data protection for identity identification and authentication technologies.
Both solutions have already been successfully deployed as part of numerous border control and passenger journey facilitation devices worldwide. These two new devices are expected to be launched at the Passenger Terminal EXPO 2023 in Amsterdam and will soon be available on the market.
