The Kingdom of Morocco launches a national digital ID platform with IDEMIA
In December 2020, the French leader IDEMIA signed a 6.1 million euros contract with the Moroccan State to provide the biometric solution for the national population register.
This new platform allows Moroccans to access online services in a secure environment. Indeed, this new biometric identity card is an additional step towards the deployment of online services in Morocco.
Online and secure authentication
Set up by the DGSN (General Directorate of National Security) of the Kingdom of Morocco, this new digital authentication platform allows Moroccans to authenticate directly online in a fast and very secure way.
